Gutter Repair and Replacement in The Village

When your gutters drip at the seams, pull away from the fascia or spill over in a heavy rain, we find out why and fix that first. If a run is too far gone, we tell you plainly and show you what a new one involves.

Gutters Do Quiet Work Until They Stop

Your gutters catch the water your roof sheds and carry it away from the fascia, the siding and the foundation. When they fail, the damage shows up somewhere else first: a soft spot in the fascia board, peeling paint on the trim, a puddle against the slab or a wet corner in the garage.

Most gutter problems are small when they start. A seam loses its sealant, a hanger lets go, a downspout elbow clogs with seed pods. Those are repairs, and they usually cost far less than new gutters. We would rather reseal a seam and rehang a sagging section than sell you a full system you do not need yet.

New gutters make sense when the metal is rusted through, the runs are dented along their length after hail, or the gutters were sized too small for the roof above them. When that is the case, we explain what we saw and why patching would just buy you another season of the same trouble.

What Our Gutter Work Covers

Seam and end cap resealing
We clean out old, cracked sealant at the joints and end caps and reseal them so water stays inside the trough instead of dripping down your siding.
Rehanging and re-pitching
Gutters that sag hold standing water and pull harder on the fascia every time it rains. We swap loose spikes or failed hangers for new ones and reset the slope so water runs toward the downspout.
Downspout and elbow repair
We clear clogged downspouts, put in new elbows where old ones are crushed and add extensions so water lands well away from your foundation.
Section and full-run replacement
If one stretch is rusted, split or badly dented, we can swap out just that section. When most of the system is worn out, we install new gutters sized to your roof and pitched correctly from the start.
A look at the roof edge
Gutters and the roof edge fail together. While we are up there, we check the drip edge, the fascia board and the last course of shingles, and we tell you if anything there needs attention from our roof repair side.

Signs Your Gutters Need Attention

  • Water spilling over the front edge

Overflow in a moderate rain usually means a clog, a missing downspout or a run with the slope going the wrong way.

  • Drips at the corners and joints

Steady drips at seams mean the sealant has failed. It is one of the most common and least costly fixes we make.

  • Gutters pulling away from the house

A gap between the gutter and the fascia points to loose hangers or rotting wood behind them. Catching it early can save the fascia board.

  • Stains, rust or peeling paint below

Streaks on the siding and flaking trim paint under a gutter show where water has been escaping for a while.

  • Washed-out soil or pooling near the foundation

If the ground below a downspout is eroded or stays soggy days after a storm, water is not being carried far enough away from your home.

  • Dents after a hailstorm

Hail can crease gutters enough to change how they drain. Dented gutters are also a useful clue when you are checking for roof damage, which our storm damage repair page covers.

How a Gutter Visit Goes

  1. 1

    Start with a phone call

Describe the drip, sag or overflow and where on the house it shows up. We will ask how old the gutters are and whether a storm came through lately, then pick a time to visit.

  2. 2

We look at the whole run

We check every seam, hanger and downspout, run water where it helps to see the flow, and look at the fascia and roof edge. We take photos so you can see what we saw.

  3. 3

    You get a straight recommendation

We explain whether a repair will do the job or whether new gutters are the better use of your money, and we lay out the cost line by line before any work starts.

  4. 4

    The work and the cleanup

Most repairs are done in a single visit. We work from ladders set on protected footing, keep your beds and walkways clear, and haul away old metal, fasteners and debris before we leave.

What Shapes the Cost of Gutter Work

Gutter pricing depends far more on what we find than on a flat rate. A few resealed seams and a rehung section cost very little compared with new runs around the whole house. We price the repair first and only bring up new gutters when they are the sensible choice.

Repair or replace
Resealing and rehanging use few materials and little time. New gutters mean new metal, hangers and downspouts for every run.
Length and height
More linear feet means more material. Second-story runs and steep slopes below the eave take more setup and care.
Condition of the fascia
If the wood behind the gutter is soft, it has to be repaired before anything new can be hung on it, and that adds to the job.
Downspouts and drainage
Extra downspouts, longer extensions or rerouting water away from a low spot near the foundation all change the scope.

Gutter Questions We Hear Often

Something not covered here? (405) 849-7849

Can you just fix the leaking part instead of replacing everything?

Usually, yes. Most leaks come from a failed seam or end cap, and resealing it is a small job. We only suggest new gutters when the metal itself is rusted, split or badly bent along much of its length.

Why do my gutters overflow even after I clean them?

The slope may be off, so water sits instead of running to the downspout. It can also mean the downspout is clogged lower down or there are too few downspouts for the size of your roof. We check all three before recommending anything.

Do sagging gutters damage the house?

They can. A sagging gutter holds water, gets heavier and pulls on the fascia, which can let water into the wood behind it. Rehanging the section early is much cheaper than rebuilding rotted fascia later.

Should I deal with my roof before replacing gutters?

If your roof is due for a new one soon, it often makes sense to plan both together so the drip edge and gutters line up correctly. If the roof has years left, there is no need to wait. Our roof inspections page explains how we judge where a roof stands.

Do you serve towns outside The Village?

Yes. Along with The Village, we work in Nichols Hills, Warr Acres, Bethany, Oklahoma City and other nearby communities. The service areas page lists them.
